I've got a 4-door Audi Coupe GT

Hi everyone again.

I got my bearings fixed today, and now I can think when I am driving the
car.  There is no way that I could have done that job myself, I don't have
the time or tools to do it either.  Now that that noise is gone, time to
rid myself of the exhaust system noises.  I called up one of my suppliers,
and he said that he would need to know the body style before he could order
one.  So I get the VIN# from my car.  Just my luck, I need to get the more
expensive option.  I was quoted $263.51 for a bolt-up rear Bosal(sp?)
muffler/pipes/tips for my 4000.  Is this average/high/low?

The whole jist of this message is that according to the Bentley, and the VW
FAQ, my car is a Audi Coupe GT according to the VIN.  My 7-8 digits are 85,
which from both sources says its a GT, not a 4000.  So, looks like the VIN#
isn't as reliable as we would hope.  Maybe you folks out there with those
fancy Turbo Quattro Coupes actually have a fancy Turbo Quattro Sedans, and
you never saw those extra doors did ya!  :)

The car that I drive everyday is a 4-door 4000CSq, contrary to what
Bentley/FAQ has to say.  VIN# WAUFB0851HA001455
