  I don't know if this is any help since I'm doubly confused about the
 quantities. Working it out in American gallons, 10 litres = 2.64 gals.
 and 1 mile = 0.62 km so as we say here something is arse over tit.
  in any case the British gallon is equal to 2.545 litres and in my
 84 4000 2.2l I average 22mpg in town and 25mpg in country. We dont tend
 to have A/C over her so it doesn't come in to the equation.
