I've read about a number of engine options that will NOT be available in the 
US.  According to Road and Track (or maybe Car and Driver-- can't remember 
now) we will only have the current 6 cylinder engine availabe in the A4 for 
the time being, although maybe next year there will be a 200 HP 30V?? V6 
available.
