CIS modifications

Has anyone played with any mods to the pre 90 CIS-lambda or CIS-basic on any
bosch system (this doesn't need to be just turbos, or just audis for that
matter).....  I've done the nerd homework on the details of the various
systems.....  And it's time to play (that would be modify)......  Has anyone
modified either the control pressure, or lower chamber pressure in the lambda
circuit?  I know what abt offered and I'm convinced there is a much better
way......  Any experience would be appreciated.......  TIA
