I'm afraid I can't help with the info you're looking for, but I did notice
you were using Repco pads and SS/teflon brake lines.  How do the Repco's
compare to the Pagids, and how much difference do the SS/teflon lines make?

Also, as a tinkerer have you ever heard of anyone modifying their
non-adjustable steering rack (4000s including urQ) to add the adjustment
from the 5000 rack?
