Well, one of my datapoints was sitting in the car, idling, on a damn cold
night (like 0F or so, 'bout as cold as it got last winter here in the
Royal Duchy of Mass), and watching the temp needle hovering well over the
220F mark, ***WITH THE HEATER GOING, AND BLOWING ONLY TEPID AIR***. (This
was stock 190 thermostat.) So *I* recommend the 180 thermostat/170 fan
switch even for the lands of snow and honey...
