Audi Coupe Questions: To buy?

Hello all!

The insurance company came back with a rather _small_ lump of cash to 
allow me to replace my quattro.

I've been looking after work each evening this week, and am 
disappointed in the whole automobile world in general.  There are 
>NO< options out there for all-wheel drive (Unless I want a mini-
van... <GAG>).

I by-passed all of the American motor companines, since there is 
nothing there that even inspires me at all.  And most of the current 
Japanese market is lackluster.  I don't have enough money for a new 
Audi, BMW, or Mercedes.  

I've narrowed the field down to the following:

1995 Urabus AWD Legacy Outback ($20k)
Pros: Warranty  Cons: 135hp

or a used Quattro.
Pros: Power  Cons: BIG repair bills.

Now the questions:

I really want a Coupe Quattro.  I'm quite ignorant in this area and 
have a few questions:

What years were the Audi 90 (rounded) Look-alike models produced.  I'm 
guessing 1988-92 or so?

What powerplant do they have?  The 90 4-cylinder SOHC?
Is there a turbo model available?
What is the hp rating?
Are there engine mods available?  (Ala Ned/IA)

What can I expect to pay for one?

Are there any standard problem areas.  I'm very familiar with 5K 
troubles (ie. Rack leak, Sunroof, Power Windows, Climate control, 
etc.)  I just don't know if I am ready to put out $500 every three 
months, or to get a new car w/ warranty.
