  Here's a story to brighten your day. I aced the toll both
  coin toss in second gear at about 10 MPH and was off
  up through the gears at WFO, short-shifting at 3500 so
  as not to draw undo attention to myself by the troopers
  that frequent the toll both areas on my way to work at
  0630 hours this morning. I scanned the mirrors as I
  settled in for the final high-speed blast to work...... I was
  surprised to see a trooper right behind me, but he was
  going left for the high speed lane at a pretty good clip.....
  Cool...... He cruised past me and I let him go..... I watched
  him close on a cluster of traffic ahead. He got jammed
  up by a red, rusty, sortah leanin' type older droF van
  just hangin' out in the high speed lane cruising along
  at the same speed as the cluster, you know, one of
  those "virtual" passes...... So the trooper eases over
  into the high speed breakdown lane just a tad so the
  van "operator" can see him and get the #(&*)'n@ell
  out of the way. No reaction by the van "operator"......
  So now the trooper pulls totally into the high speed
  breakdown lane and I expect the van "operator" to
  be somewhat started when he realizes that he's
  holding up Mr. Trooper and has been for awhile now......
  No reaction...... So the trooper finally swings back in
  behind the van and on go the lights. *YES*! Dontcha
  wish you had a little switch like that to move life's
  boneheads out of the way? I knew right then that there
  is a Car God.
