I had the exact same problem back in '91 on my '84 5kS.
Those bushings were available then for about a buck each,
full retail from a dealer. Maybe things are different now and the
bushings are no longer available separately.

YMMV, but I have known of dealers trying to sell more than is
necessary, especially on inexpensive parts, to increase profit.
If you can, go to the dealer's parts counter and get them to show
you the picture of the part on the 'fiche. Pointing to what you need
may help them "notice" that it is available separately.

I have the dealer invoice at home and can look up the part
number if it would help. Then at least you can call and ask
for a price based on P/N and see what the dealer says...
