This is second hand, but a friend who has a sedecreM 190E-16V thought 
that he wanted DOT 5. (5 is gotta be better than 4...right?)  After the 
complex ritual of flushing all fluid from reservoirs and lines, the ABS 
didn't work right with the DOT 5.

He's now back to Castrol LMA DOT 4, which is BTW what I run in my Audi.
