Emergencey Dejur

Seems the Ur-Quattro ignition bugs are biting agian.
I have been using the TQC as a daily driver for the last
week to allow for running for new parts and getting
smogged, and testing the reliability. Well! I had
the ignition cut out twice in the last day. First
time was obviously my fault. I was running without
the ECU backshell clamped down, the box just dangling
by the connector. So I squish it back in and am on my
way. Today it died again. It was late last night
and I didn't clamp down the connector. So i clamp
it down and crank it over. Nothing... So I twiddled
with the distributor, thinking it was out of the timing
"window". still nothing. That's where it sits now, dead.

I managed to fetch tools and manual and plan on starting to
work the problem after work. It's in the parking lot at
work. Not very convenient! Hope I can find it quickly.
