The first time I had to replace the accumulator on my '83 urQ, the symptom
was a brief flash of the warning light when I stabbed the pedal.  It should
be noted that my brakes didn't brake while the light was on, a fraction of
a second which seemed like about an hour at times.  I would guess a bad
accumulator.
