Re: 200T Front End Noise

You may want to check the 3 nuts that hold the strut tower and 3 nuts on the
camber plate on both struts. If they are tight then I will suspect a either
the wheel bearing or the lower ball joint. I have had problem with all three
of these items. Loose camber plates and bad wheel bearing both kind of make
a grind and clunk noise when the car is stationary and when the steering
wheel is being turned.

If you had a bad ball joint, your car will feel kind of lop sided. When you
push down on the front end, the side with the bad ball joint will need less
force to push down and rebound will be higher than the other side( it took
me a while to figure out it was a bad ball joint, I was assnming it was a
defective strut since it happened after 6 months I got new struts).

Good luck.
