I had the same problem with my sunroof. I thought that the brakets were
dead, but I tried this
Opened the little cover with the dome light.
There is a blue switch and a white switch.
Sprayed the blue switch with plenty of contact cleaner and played with it.
No problem since (maybe 4 months).
