A4 over light steering

those of you who are considering the A4 but are put off by the steering,
don't despair..  it is a simple fix to just unplug the @#$%^& servotronic
unit.. like yanking a serial port connector off. 

after the servotronic is unplugged the steering will be wonderful old school
audi.. i.e. everything that you liked about pre-91 or 92 models' steering. 
servotronic is there to appease the american crowd who like lexii.. 

with less power assistance i would expect the power steering gear to last
longer too.

if anybody's interested i can find out where exactly the servotronic box 
is.  it may require the dash to be removed or if you are lucky it may just
be under the front passenger footwell.. find it and yank the connector
and you will be in heaven.
