My A4 Impressions.

Took out the new A4 Quattro for a ride last night at my local dealer. I 
wanted to see if I was in fact excited to trade in my 90 20V fo the 1.8 
when in comes in 2 months (so he says)  Looks like Ill be driving my 20 V 
for quite a while.
Likes: Quiet, smooth, handling, ride. Comfort was very nice, gauges and 
steering wheel nicely located. Finally has tilt/telescoping. I think 
nicer climate control than mine. Seems like a really big car inside, 
while still being small and nimble.

Dislikes: NO POWER!!! My 20V **IS** faster and will beat it no questions 
asked. Although it claims almost 10 more horsepower, Im not sure where it 
goes.  But in all fairness, I  had 3 people in the car and only 180 miles 
on the clock. THat does make a difference. But if I had my choice,.....
Does not have seat memory.
Cant turn on and off the diff engagement. ITs all done "automatically" 
when you lose traction. I dont have enough faith in these things yet to 
assume its going to work when I need it. If I cant test it when its warm 
out (so I can fix it when its warm out!) then I dont want to assume it 
will be there when Im trying to climb a snowy hill.
The driver seemed too removed from the road.

Thats about it... I think I had more likes than dislikes, but the 
dislikes are too important for me at this point. Ill see how the 1.8 
Turbo is in a couple of months.
