My experience with AVS U+4 tires are good.  They are not as sticky
on dry roads as the Firestone S660s that my car originally came with
but they are better on wet roads.  They are good in snow too.  Not as good
as a real snow tire though.  I have always bought them from Tire Rack.  I
never asked them for their advice, just bought what I wanted.  They do
wear forever compared to the old Firestones and the P6s that I have had.
They come in H or V rating depending on the size.
