Signing off

We're selling the Audi, so I guess it's time to sign off.

Why the sale? Well, for various reasons, we wanted an estate (station
wagon). I looked at a 5000 estate, which I liked very much, but it didn't
quite have the capacity we wanted. That sloping rear window looks nice,
but it does cut into the cargo area quite a bit.

So we ended up with a neortiC XC irafaS. (Hmm - this backwards convention
is getting a bit silly.) This is an interesting car (possibly in the
Chinese sense) with a stupendous carrying capacity, and a hydraulic
sytstem which makes the Audi brake accumulator look tame.

Running, taxing and insuring both cars doesn't really make sense, so
the Audi must sadly go. Any UK list members want a slightly shabby '86
80 Sport? One careful owner, and a few careless ones...

Anyway, I've learned a great deal from the list, and I'm very grateful
to all of the people who've helped to answer my questions. Keep up
    the good work.
