I find the most difficult thing about changing the tranny/diff fluid (in 
a MT) is getting the replacement fluid into the hole.  It is all pretty 
accessible from below, given that you have the proper sized hex driver 
(17mm?).  I usually drive the car to warm up the fluid and then pull the 
fill plug and the *two* drain plugs.  I then do the rear diff too.  

For filling I use a long funnel that I think was for filling auto trannys, 
with a short length of hose to go into the filler hole and position the 
funnel near the brake master cylinder.  The rear diff is a little tougher 
... I use a gear oil pump to get the new fluid in.

If you have never replaced the fluid in the tranny/diff I'd recommend that 
you put some penetrating oil on the plugs some time before getting started.
