I'm sorry, I should have explained better:

The gear oil jug is what the new gear oil comes in; I typ. buy gallon jugs,
but some people prob. preffer the quarts.  (But gear oil quarts are not like
motor oil quarts, they are skinny and tall.)

The plunger pump is a plastic pump unit, has a hose on bottom which goes into
the oil, the base part of the pump screws onto the gear oil container, and the
plunger part has a hose which you put into the fill hole.  You push down on the
top, and it delivers oil to the fill hole.  They (the pump units) usually have
a clip on the fill-hole hose end, which helps hold the hose in the fill hole.
