That is not terrible.  That's what mine gets.
It's heavy.
It's boxy.
It's got lots of moving parts.
It's got wide tires.
It's got a "European" 5th gear, not a lazy yank econo-fuel 5th.
It's so much damned fun you want to take it through the gears all the time.

If you do not like your Syncro, send it to me.  I can always use a spare.

If anyone has a Lotus Europa they don't need, I can use a spare one of 
those, too.  They are really fast and get grat mileage, but are kind of 
hard to load lumber into!
