Re[2]: A4 2.8Q



     Maybe this is the Alaska-Tierra del Fuego trip;
     an end point would allow a shorter record time.

     Seems to me this trip has one big problem, the Darien Gap
     at the south end of Panama, where there is no road, but a great big
     swamp; everyone driving the Pan American Highway ships the vehicle
     from Panama to Columbia. Maybe a few winch equipped vehicles have
     made it on their own, or they have finally completed what would
     pass for a road..

For it to be a record, doesnt it have to actually be LONGER than the old
record??
