Re: U's + 4's Yokos & Dunlop SP80000
I have put 30K miles on the Yoko U+4s (195/60/H14)on my '86 Coupe GT and
overall I like them a lot. Here is the rundown:
Wet: Excellent braking and very good handling
Dry: OK braking and OK cornering
Excellent steering
Very firm ride, quiet tire
OK but not great snow performance
I just recently put on a set of Dunlop SP8000 195/55 Z14s to be used for the
3 seasons while I use the remaining 10k miles on the Yokos in the winter.
Here a preliminary report after 1k miles:
Wet: Excellent braking and cornering
Dry: Excellent cornering, good braking
Steering: Good but they seem to pick up every little road irregularity
Jiggly ride but quiet
Hope this help! glenn

I don't recommend them, Bob, cuz I drove a 90cq with them on, and given the
