they are not... Will agree with the assessment here, except that I driven
lots of tires that do better in the wet for less money.....

The SP8000 is prolly too much sidewall for the coupe, glenn, a little softer
ride and better app would prolly be the D40M2..... I can attest that the
heavier q's, esp the 5ktq needs that stiffness to hold it's portly
bodice.......... And after having both (currently 16X7.5 w/ 205/55 8k's), I
would save the dollars and go with the D40's next time...... 'Cept those
QCUSA track events keep coming up........ First set of street tires I've
ever had that show no noticeable track abuse wear..... Even my Yoko's
couldn't do that.......
