I think for legal reasons more than anything. My wife works for CT state
Police, and they have been REALLY going to town on illegal equipment
lately. (Probably since they lost the radar detector case a while
back..) Anyway, they are doing spot checks out 84 in the Storrs area,
just searching cars randomly (look out dave!) and 91S in New haven.
(As I drop her off at work this morning with my 4 Hella Rallye 1000's
mounted to the front...)
But I think you will be in pain after a short time on tar with those
tires, I recall a sore butt on a few transit miles in Maine.
