1/4 time w/ Veracom VC-200

Quattrists,

I ran my '86 5KCSTQ with a Veracom VC-200 today for about three
1/4 mile runs and 3 0-60 runs. According to the VC 200, I turned about
16 seconds flat in the 1/4 at about 89mph, and 0-60 in about 7.8 seconds.

Does this sound reasonable for a stock Quattro at about 13.5psi,
with a bumped cam, and no other mods? Is the VC 200 reliable?

I got a much better run when I slipped te clutch at about 5000
rpm to keep the revs over 4000 rpm. If I let the clutch out with any
speed at all, the revs would just drop down to 2000.

Later,
