Fuel Injection Fixes
My fuel injection decided to start dieing for no reason. My car
would be idleing warm and just stop. I removed the fuel injection
control relay and opened it. Inside I found many cold solder
joints on the lower circuit board. With a fine point soldering
iron I resoldered (adding new solder alot with it) all the solder
joints which were dull or cracked. This instantly fixed all
my problems.
I hope this may save some of you some hours and money some day.

Ditto for some of the complex relays just under the steering
wheel that control the sunroof/windows, the driver's side
windows.. etc...
Pry these open, resolder the joints that hold the mechanical
relays to the PC board, and your intermittant problems go away.
Bad packaging design techniques, especially from Bosch..
ALWAYS SECURE HEAVY COMPONENTS MECHANICALLY, DO NOT RELY ON
SOLDER JOINTS TO KEEP THEM IN PLACE.
