Audi country calls !

     Greetings all,

just completed a 3 day road trip that took me though some beautiful
scenery in Southern Colorado. I headed south from Denver to Pueblo
(boring !) and at Walsenburg I hit a right and headed for Durango.
Lovely mountain passes, I did about 10 on this trip. At Durango head
north and you'll find some choice climbs, curves and downhills (My
little 1.8l was humming and I sure it was the fastest car on the down
hill stages !). No snow yet and in winter these passes are definitely
quattro only material. I was very impressed with my pride and joy but
I still long for something that will do 100 up Vail pass ! The only
modification was to duct tape the sunroof closed as it's a little
broken and the wind noise was driving me batty. If your ever in the
area I highly recommend you at least do some of the rout from Durango
     to I-70.
