I have had exactlyu the above symptoms and found the fix.
1. Oil Leak. The Cam Tower Covers need to be snugged down occasionally, but be
carefuldo not over tighten the covers. Use a Head Bolt alternating torque
arrangement when tighteneing.
2. Clunking underneath can be exhaust hitting the cross brace, just realign the
exhasut system by loosening the bolts that hold it all together and recenter the
exhaust. B. The Subframe that carries the hole suspension is held by 4 Bolts, and
if one or more are loose you will get Klunk.
3. "Surging" from throttle ususally is a sign of needing new Oxygen Sensor, New
Plugs, or a Vacuum Leak.
