TQC Euro Light Answers

If the TQC is anything like the 5K quattro, you probably have an H4 bulb for
high-low and a separate H1 bulb for the high beam. Also euro lights have a
"city" bulb, which is a low wattage bulb almost like a parking light that must
be used in many European cities in lieu of the regular headlamp. The plug
configurations for the H4 and H1 are obviously different from the US DOT
versions. I can't tell from what you have said about wiring what is going on,
but perhaps you don't have the HI side grounded properly, or have wired up the
city light (which should be wired into the parking light circuit).
