    Yeah, at these RPM's I believe the oil doesn't have time
    to make it's way back to the oil pan.....

   I've had the oil level light go on at startup for the 
   last four or five years on my 5000s. I've always 
   considered it a bad switch or wire problem since 
   the oil pressure is always up to snuff.
