5k bad vibrations, conclusion
I swapped my old BFG Comp TAs onto the car last night and -- voila! -- the
vibration I experience for the first mile or so every morning on Yokohamas
disappeared completely! Given the fact that these tires, although unused,
have been in storage for over three years, I'm reluctant to blame Yokohama
but still...
Does anyone know of a "magic" solution to this problem other than buying a
new set of tires? I've had this happen with race tires before but it's at
worst a minor problem and those tires don't last very long anyway ... if I
have to put up with this for another year or so (I got 20k on the previous
set), it's bound to start bugging me, especially now that I'm aware of it.
