farewell old friend
Just dropped off the 90 to its new owners. I'll miss it,
but looking forward to buying the 84 4000sq tomorrow morning.
For the curious, it had 103k miles and I got $5300 for it.
Here's a list of common 90 problems that developed over 103k:
- master cylinder seal leaked, replaced
- left front wheel bearing replaced
- driver's key lock carrier broke
- rear passenger door 'plunger' lost its clip
- switch lights burnt out
- water pump weeping coolant
- lifters wore out, replaced
normal wear and tear:
- tires, shocks, brakes
Will probably go soon:
- heater core
- coolant sensor
- passenger side lock carrier (since I've been using it instead!)
All in all, it was the nicest, best built car I have owned.
Have a good life old pal.
