Good point! I have the stock calipers F&R with MM pads and cross-drilled
rotors on the ur-Q with fresh DOT 4 castrol fluid. These brakes are
excellent! I too have wondered about the upgrade to the twin-pot calipers
and/or vented rear discs. I don't see a real big advantage to upgrading
*unless* there is a substantial increase in swept area This requires
larger rotors and pads and the front dual-pot setup is the same size
rotor as stock. The solid rear discs are plenty underutilized so why
bother? With good pads and drilled rotors the uq-Q brakes are plenty
adequate for street use, IMFO. For track use, larger diam discs & bigger
pads would be the balls though.....
