Re: the listmeister is a read Q-head

Sounds like tons of fun ahead of you. I also have the fuel pump noise
that varies with electrical load. I'm curious to see if anyone has any
insight into this. The sound doesn't bug me (I usually can't hear it
over my Glasspak), but if something's going bad I need to replace it.

As far as I know, the plate on top of the fuel tank with the wires is the
fuel sender unit. This is what sends the fuel level to your dash gauge.

I know that on my wagon I once disconnected the hot wire from the dash
A/C control lights to power a stereo amp (before I learned to do things
the right way - ie not tear things up). The dash lights never worked
again behind those controls. With a Radio Shack stereo and the wrong
speakers, you might want to check the wiring into those lights with a
Voltmeter.
