BTDT on my wifes ex-86.... The rotor is beefier (thicker) on the dual pot,
has different carriers, thicker rotor, and more vents at the hub area......
There is a big difference, even with the stock pads...... The big
difference is less heat, smoother braking, and thicker rotor......... Cross
drill the rears, one should be fine..... Cross drill the fronts with the
dual pots, and enjoy more than a lap or two on the track........

Cuz the 88> uses a larger 38mm piston vs the 36mm in the q (we're talking
solid disks tho)....... Agree going vented in the rear is not worth the
trouble however, cuz the wagon app is the only one with the vents, and US
availability is nil....
With good pads and drilled rotors the uq-Q brakes are plenty

..... And a hard app to cross ref to, unfortunately..... Looked into it (so
has Eric F.) not much available bang 4buck.....
