   Which leads us to the next and current working theory - I think the damn 
   clutch has rust welded itself onto the transmission input spline after 
   sitting motionless for over a year.  Assuming this to be the case, anyone 

Oh yeah, I think it is the disk which actually "sticks" to the flywheel
face; I'm not sure if it actually "rusts", or just bonds/contact welds
themselves, or what.
