Re: power steering pump
Whenever I get out of my mom's adnoH and back into my Quantum, my
steering feels pretty heavy (especially at low speeds). IMO your
clicking sound is coming from the vaccuum pump which is right behind your
power steering pump, and your power steering pump is fine. Try taking
the belt off the pump pulley and see if your clicking sound persists. I
haven't heard of too many power steering pumps going kaput. Also, check
to make sure the belt's tight in the first place.
Of course, I've been wrong many times before.
