v6 oil filters

Hi all.  I had planned to do an oil change on the v6 this weekend, but
ran into the following problem.

Someone posted the oil filter part numbers here about a month ago, and
the v6 engine calls for a different filter from the (non-turbo) 5
cylinder engine, if memory serves me correctly.

Armed with that information, I went to three different auto parts stores,
and all of them tried to sell me the standard 5cyl filter (OC47).

So, does anyone know what the difference is?  I hate to have to buy
these from the dealer, at 3x the price I can get OC47's for.
