30-70 tests

Okay, this is way preliminary because I wasn't really planning to do
this...just found a crease without much traffic on I12.

Very slight downgrade, upgrade
about 70 degrees
about 60% RH

'83 TQC, single entry vehicle with an American spec engine...supposedly.

K&N filter
Cat in place, no center muffler, Dynomax rear muffler with Ansa single
chrome tip.
Head was put back on with RaceQuip hardware, but that's all that's
different with the engine, unless....?
Car is lowered with Eibach/Boge setup and runs Euro headlights.
15" x 7" Fuchs alloys with 215/50 Dunlop SP4000's

Didn't catch the boost on any of the runs, but it's only the dash gauge
anyway. Experience tells me that it is registering about 1.7 bar on full
boost. Never have hit the boost limiter on this thing, even redlining
around 2nd Creek in Denver, but that had altitude working...

Run #1, slight downhill, slight tailwind (maybe): 7.8 sec
Run #2, slight uphill, slight headwind: 8.2 sec
Run #3, slight downhill, no wind: 7.9 sec

These seem a little fast comparatively...and they felt pretty slow. I'm
wondering if my ECU is slightly different (Euro) or the spring is
stronger...and I haven't gotten Charlie's yet! That will be an interesting
comparison.

Oh, one other thing...haven't fixed that differential locking problem
yet...the center light came on as boost built up on runs 1 and 3.

By the way, when I first picked up this car in CA years ago, my friend had
just brought in his single entry, Euro '87 TQC (registered as an '86, I
think). Before he had all the certification work done on it, he would
utterly blow me off the line, but then wouldn't get any further away, but
we're talking a 200 foot lead PDQ.

What do you guys think?
