The car was brought in by an individual, not through the regular Audi
network. It was Dave Sutton, I believe, who used to run their rally
program in England. The car has an AudiSport shifter, "zebra cloth"
interior, Fitti E3 steering wheel, FUchs alloys with non-DOT approved
Pirelli Sports (like P7 Rallys) originally and supposedly it had a "Euro"
suspension, which has since been modified. It has some things in odd
places compared to other TQC's and I've often wondered about the actual
engine setup..ECU and WG spring in particular. It tends to run stronger
than most, although last year at 2nd Creek you never would have known it by
my times...turned out I had two popped exhaust manifold studs and popped
two more on the first day. Hard to build boost when it's leaking away,
hence the redlining all around the track that day.

Enough running on about the beast...
