........... Obviously Mr. Hines, you have not bothered to ck the archives
on this topic..... If you had, you would have realized what Bob was making a
funny reference too..... And since your sense of humor is limited, let me
help you out...... Bob is referring to several of these posts over the last
year or more where folks have replaced ALL the hydraulic lifters in there
cars, only to have the noise still appear, maybe in a different tone.....
And there are others who have done that, then replaced the exhaust manifold
studs (and even the manifold itself), only to have the noise still be
there....... So you reacted to an absolutely correct (and almost Unk
Bart-like) reference to your problem...... The fact that you chose to take
the comment (and I'm not sure I wouldn't have posted the same thing) with
your hackles raised, indicates to me that you do not like to have your time
or mail wasted...... Then fine, get majordomo to give you 1) an index of
topics and do your own homework, 2) get the digest version, so these
"useless" posts can be deleted quickly, or 3) use that language of your post
on the C&D audi forum where it is most acceptable......
Not sure a post like that will get you any help here, anyway......
