   I have a really good definitive article I can post. But, it 
   does take up some bandwidth (it's a four part post). When
   I posted to rec.auto.tech, the "duralube, slick et al."
   threads died, and I got several positive email responses 
   from various oil company engineers. I'll post a reply or
   two I received also IF I don't get messages not to 
   post. If there are no email objections by tonight I 
   will post it, since it's really not an exclusive 
   Audi subject, and seeing how Audi owners tend to be
   more ahhh..informed..(gotta be careful here) most
   probably would never even consider putting snake
   oil in their beloved <cough> <cough> 4X4.  ;)
