86 5KCST for $3500, good buy?

I am new to the list, and have been following it for the last several
weeks.  I presently do not own an Audi, but am looking for any way I can to
become an owner after reading many responses about them!!

At a local lot they have an '86 5KCST for $3500, it has only 72k miles and
the interior and exterior are in fantastic shape.  I have not driven it or
started it up yet, but I wanted to get some opinions from the experts on
what I should look for, any problems this year car had and whether this is
a decent buy.
