Re: Audi Stationwagon

The car you refer to is (actually, was) the RS-2 joint production venture
with Porsche. It consisted of an S2 in Avant guise with a
hotted-up-by-Porsche engine (315 hp DIN) as well as chassis and brake
modifications, also compliments of Porsche. Big fat wheels and tires as
well.

Body work modifications included lower bumper aprons front and rear, Porsche
rear view mirrors, usw.

Interior had sport seats in various confections, the gray instrument faces,
and some unique cosmetic items.

All this is in the past tense because the car went out of production this
past summer. A total of just under 3000 were made; the car was never
homologated for the U.S. or Canada. The likelihood of a human of normal
means getting one over here approaches zero, but from the negative side.
