Pot cleaner rarely works for any significant period of time.  I will replace
it if I can get to it...

As far as the sending unit goes - aside from slapping it around, you just
have to replace it.  Peter @ Audionly has it for 44.00, and the dealer price
is almost the same.  Its the 369 L model.  Just a bad design - genuflect to
the Gods and be glad its a simple fix.  On the good side, the temp control
system (fans, etc) are completely separate.  The other function is to retard
timing in a high temp condition.
