Arizona summers...
> Or move to Arizona and get a killer set of summer tires....
BTW, when it does rain out here -- usually in July and August -- the roads
get REAL slippery REAL quickly since the oil that builds up tends to float
on top of the surface until it gets washed away after the first 30 minutes
or so. One other problem: Since it rains so seldom out here, people don't
usually realize that their wiper blades have rotted away until it actually
starts raining and they discover they don't work ... tends to make driving
an adventure, to say the least. Us locals have a saying: "It's not IF you
have accident but WHEN..." and, unfortunately, our insurance rates tend to
support this as they're among the highest in the country (which is another
reason why a certain '91 BMW M3 isn't sitting in my driveway!).
