Front Spoiler Woes

The front of my S4 had a run-in with a curb today *backing-out* of a
parking spot -- it seems that as my rear wheels climbed over some ice
on the ground, the nose tilted down and the front spoiler caught the
cement curb and ejected the plastic grill inserts. The problem is that
a couple of the struts that both support the oval opening and hold
the pins from the grill inserts have cracked and separated. I think they
can be repaired with glue or epoxy or something. Anyone have experience
with this kind of thing? Any recommendations on what glue or epoxy?

Also, now that the grill inserts are off, I see that there is a wire
coming out into the spoiler on the driver's side -- it looks kind of like
a harness for a light of some sort. Anyone know what this might be?

Thanks,
Jeff
