Get yerself a dental-pick lookin' tool, and go sit in front of the car. All
the way to the right behind the grill, just next to the headlight, you'll see a
metal hanger rod doo-hickie that comes down from the top of the grill (about
two inches long if memory serves), and has a loop in the end with a metal cable
going through it. Use your dental pick to grab the tiny loop that the cable is
going through, and pull the lever towards you. Then go to the left, just next
to the headlight again, and look for the same rod hanging down from the hood.
Again, use the dental tool to hook the loop, and pull towards you. This will
release the hood. Most likely the plastic or metal end cap at the end of the
cable broke or fell off. Junkyards give these away. Have fun!
