Re: EPROMs & mods, etc.

   ...
driving the 4KQ with Hakka 10s. I'd be happy to yank the ur-q CPU and dump the
IA Stage II EPROM contents for comparison with the stock ur-q EPROM.

Can anyone tell me the type of EPROM or the exact Data I/O module I need to
dump this sucker? I'd like to be sure I have the correct Data I/O module
   *before* I pull the sucker.

It's a 2532. I can lend ya a hacked up funny-looking socket to pretend
it's a 2732 for read-back purposes (I don't think you can program it as
a 2732, I think the 2532 is a 25-volt programming chip, while the newer
2732's are 21 (?12?) volt chips. But it works for reading the chip).

But if your programmer is sufficiently obsolete that it can handle 2532
chips directly, you're in luck. (Or you can come by and use my stupid
little ole programmer to read the chip.)
